Faith The Size of A Mustard Seed

Matthew 17:20 NLT

“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”

God can do the impossible in our lives, but we must have faith that He can.

Living a life of faith can feel difficult, especially when we’re going through what feels like the absolute worst. Life has a way of trying to suck the joy out of the very moment(s) that we know are Heaven sent. Beautiful blessings from above that seemingly feel overshadowed by the uncertainties and misfortunes of life, but still, we must remain in faith.

Having faith is a choice, but also a divine necessity in our spiritual journey and walk with the Lord. It is required of us, and is something that we must work out, and walk out daily. It’s like a muscle. . . it’s like working out. . . it’s like learning a new skill. . . we must practice it daily, we must tap into something within. . . an inner strength that is only God given in order to access all that is needed to truly see the results.

The Bible tells us that we are ALL born with a measure of faith. Each of us, born with God-given abilities, and giftings that allow us to tap into the unseen. An ability to connect with our source and creator — God. An ability to access the things that can not be found earth side, and all we need is a mustard seed of faith.

God is divine. He is Good. He is gracious and merciful. A powerful healer, and a Master of all things.

God is greater than our circumstances. He is greater than our emotions. Greater than our feelings. Greater than all. His power, and His ability to move in our lives is and will always be beyond our understanding.

His ways are not our ways.

His thoughts, not our thoughts. . . which means that even when we can’t see a way out, even when we can’t see how things will get better, God sees it, and He is working on our behalf.

There are so many things in life that we must simply leave to God, and this feels scary, I know. There are things that we simply just don’t have the ability to change. So, today, I leave you with a bit of encouragement. . .

Whenever you find yourself in a situation, season, or circumstance that seems hopeless, allow that to be your cue to ask God for help.

Allow it to be your cue to ignite that fire of faith inside of you and to seek God for His will.

Through Jesus Christ, there are so many things available to us. So many beautiful miracles to be found. Believe this. Have faith. Grow in faith and trust that God can and will do the impossible in you and for you.

I love you all.
